Frequently Asked Questions

8 common questions answered

What are the known NHTSA recalls for a 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser?
The NHTSA has issued 17 recalls affecting the 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser covering fuel pumps, seat belts, air bags, accessories, labels and tires. Major component groups include the fuel pump (risk of engine stall), seat belt tension sensor wiring (possible air bag deactivation), incorrect air bag assemblies, improperly installed accessories, illegible load-capacity labels, and incorrect load labels affecting tires. These summaries are sourced from NHTSA records; Nalley Toyota of Roswell recommends owners confirm status with a VIN check or by contacting us.
How do I check if my 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser has an open recall?
Check your VIN at NHTSA.gov or bring your VIN to Nalley Toyota of Roswell and we will check it for free. You can also call Toyota customer service at 1-888-270-9371 for recall numbers referenced in NHTSA documents, or schedule service with us and we'll verify and arrange any required repairs. We offer service financing so you can get urgent work done now and pay later, even though manufacturer recall repairs are free of charge.
How much does a 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser recall repair cost?
Manufacturer recall repairs are performed free of charge by Toyota and are covered by the manufacturer. If your 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser is affected by fuel pump or air bag recalls, the corrective action (replacement or repair) will be provided at no cost at a certified dealer like Nalley Toyota of Roswell. While recall repairs are free, our service team can also discuss eligible maintenance or helpful service specials at service specials, and we offer service financing if you combine non-recall work.
Can I get my 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser recall fixed at an independent shop or do I need a dealer?
Recall repairs must be performed by an authorized dealer to ensure OEM parts and factory procedures—Nalley Toyota of Roswell is your certified Toyota recall repair center near Roswell, GA. Independent shops cannot perform official manufacturer recall repairs that document the remedy with Toyota; a factory-trained technician at a franchise dealer ensures the correct part, calibration and warranty handling. Please schedule service at our Roswell dealership and we’ll complete the recall remedy using OEM parts and document the repair for you.
How long does a 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser recall repair take?
Most recall repairs take from one hour to one day depending on parts availability and the specific component—fuel pump or air bag replacements may take longer if parts are limited. Nalley Toyota of Roswell will provide an estimated turnaround when you schedule appointment; we prioritize safety recalls and can often accommodate same-week repairs for nearby customers in Roswell, Alpharetta and the greater Atlanta area. We also maintain open communication by phone or email, and we offer service financing for non-recall work if you combine services, though recall remedies themselves are free.
Does an open recall affect my 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser's trade-in or resale value?
An unresolved recall can negatively affect trade-in or resale value because many buyers and dealers check NHTSA records and may discount a vehicle with open recalls. Resolving recalls at Nalley Toyota of Roswell protects resale value and provides documentation that the 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser received OEM recall repairs; you can also request a trade appraisal at our online page sell your car. We recommend owners resolve open recalls promptly to avoid losing value, complicating private sales, or affecting potential insurance or inspection outcomes.
Can I fail a state inspection because of an unresolved 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser recall?
Some states or inspection stations may fail or flag a vehicle with critical safety recalls, especially if the recall impacts air bag or restraint systems; unresolved recalls can therefore influence inspection results. If your 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser is subject to seat belt sensor or air bag recalls noted by NHTSA, bring it to Nalley Toyota of Roswell to schedule service—we will confirm status and perform free manufacturer repairs. Our factory-trained technicians use OEM diagnostic tools to ensure repairs meet federal standards and protect your vehicle's compliance and safety.
