Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

8 common questions answered

What are the known NHTSA recalls for a 2020 Toyota C-HR?
The NHTSA records include five C‑HR series recalls and two recalls that specifically affect the 2020 Toyota C-HR (both involve rear seat belt assemblies with a dual‑mode locking mechanism). Those two seat belt recalls (NHTSA recall numbers 19TB22 and 19TA22) relate to rear seat belt locking behavior; other listed recalls affect earlier model years but may still be relevant for specific VINs.
How do I check if my 2020 Toyota C-HR has an open recall?
You can check your VIN at NHTSA.gov to confirm open recalls for your 2020 Toyota C-HR in seconds. We also offer a free VIN recall check at Nalley Toyota of Roswell—bring your VIN or vehicle and we will verify and advise next steps at no charge.
How much does a 2020 Toyota C-HR recall repair cost?
Manufacturer recall repairs are free of charge to the vehicle owner; Nalley Toyota of Roswell performs these repairs at no cost under the recall program. If your vehicle needs related maintenance outside the recall scope, ask about our current service specials and financing options to make repairs affordable.
Can I get my 2020 Toyota C-HR recall fixed at an independent shop or do I need a dealer?
Recall repairs must be performed by a dealer or an authorized service provider to ensure OEM parts and factory procedures; a certified franchise dealer like Nalley Toyota of Roswell is the recommended option. Our factory‑trained technicians, OEM diagnostic tools and direct access to Toyota service bulletins ensure the recall is corrected correctly and the repair is logged with the manufacturer.
How long does a 2020 Toyota C-HR recall repair take?
Most recall repairs take from under an hour to a few hours, depending on the component; for example, a software update for a parking brake control unit may be quick while part replacement can take longer. When you schedule service with Nalley Toyota of Roswell we will provide an estimated turnaround time and offer loaner or shuttle options where available.
Does an open recall affect my 2020 Toyota C-HR's trade-in or resale value?
Yes—an unresolved recall can lower trade‑in offers and deter private buyers because many dealers and buyers check NHTSA records before purchase. Resolving recalls at Nalley Toyota of Roswell protects resale value; learn more or start an appraisal at our sell your car page.
Can I fail a state inspection because of an unresolved 2020 Toyota C-HR recall?
Many inspections focus on emission and safety systems; while not all recalls automatically fail inspections, unresolved safety recalls (like seat belt or wheel-related issues) can create problems for registration or insurance claims. Schedule a free recall check or schedule appointment with our service team—Nalley Toyota of Roswell offers service financing so you can get service now and pay later.
