Toyota Rear Brake Hose Recall
Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Tacoma 4-wheel drive vehicles equipped with 16-inch brakes and 17-inch Toyota wheels. The rear brake hoses can be damaged if mud and dirt builds up inside the rear wheels. This can result in a brake fluid leak. A brake fluid leak can reduce braking ability and increase the risk of a crash.
It is unclear as to whether there are any known incidents caused by issues related to this rear brake hose recall.
Toyota has advised it will start notifying the owners that have been affected by April 2025.
