2012 Toyota Tacoma

For consumers who require only the toughest and most reliable compact trucks on the market today, the 2012 Toyota Tacoma is the ideal pickup model available. With its characteristically strong features and imposing profile, the new 2012 Toyota Tacoma will be even better than its predecessor, the popular 2011 model.

Potential buyers are finding now that purchasing a 2012 Toyota Tacoma may be their best opportunity to enjoy Toyota styling and engineering at its very best. The 2012 Toyota Tacoma's fundamental dimensions continue in the same manner as they have in the past few years, as these features have proven effectively desirable and stylish over time. Toyota will offer three different cab styles for this model year, giving potential Toyota owners variety over the competition, which often offers only one or two types of cab style

The 2012 Toyota Tacoma also claims outstanding status in its provision of additional wheelbase options, the longest of which is a 140.6" span in the Double Cab long-bed. This feature is absolutely unrivaled by any other pickup outside its full-sized class. Another asset includes three separate bed lengths, ideal for buyers who wish to personally select the amount of rear cargo room their truck will sport. While the regular cab still offers seating for up to three people, the Access Cabs boast more room for passengers, seating up to four with a row of rear seats. Small doors with rear hinges allow easy access to the back area in this cab option. Double cabs will retain the four traditional side doors and a rear bench-style seat that allows for five passengers.

Toyota has continued to make minor alterations to the Tacoma's powertrain combinations in order to best suit its evolving market of potential buyers, but the classic and reliable engine system featured in the 2011 version will prove to be just as ideal for the 2012 Toyota Tacoma. Shoppers will find that the 2012 Toyota Tacoma again offers the choice between a 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine and a 4.0-liter V-6. The four-cylinder should most likely provide the 159 horsepower before and will probably be standard on the Regular Cab and Access Cab versions. The V-6 can be expected to keep its 236 horsepower and will be standard on the Double Cab with availability on the Access Cab model. For drivers with the need for a little more force, a supercharger kit is available through authorized Toyota dealers in order to deliver a total 304 horsepower to the V-6. Both engines are available in either manual or automatic transmission to suit a driver's particular preferences or needs.

For buyers interested in a truck with proven durability and longevity, the 2012 Toyota Tacoma is an investment considered both wise and worthwhile.
